Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Welcome to our website. We value the intellectual property rights of others just as we expect others to value ours. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), a copyright owner or their representative can submit a takedown notice to us through our designated DMCA Agent. As an internet service provider, we are protected by the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA from claims of copyright infringement. To submit an infringement claim, certain information must be provided to us:
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the infringing material and its location.
- Contact information of the complaining party.
- A statement by the complaining party regarding the unauthorized use of the material.
- A statement affirming the accuracy of the notification and the authority of the complaining party.
Under Title 17 USC §512(f), penalties can be imposed for misrepresenting information in an infringement claim. Takedown notices should be sent through our Contact page via email for quicker response.
It is important to note that we may disclose the identity of the complaining party to the alleged infringer for transparency. By submitting a claim, you agree to this disclosure.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If your material has been taken down due to a copyright claim, you can send us a counter notification to have the material restored. The counter notification must include:
- Your signature.
- Description of the removed material and its original location.
- A statement asserting your belief that the removal was a mistake.
- Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction for legal matters.
Counter notices should be submitted through our Contact page, preferably via email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a strict policy against copyright infringement. We will terminate accounts of repeat infringers as required by the DMCA.
Modifications
We may update our DMCA policy at any time. Please check back regularly for any changes.
